On January 15, 2014 the Sonoma County Winegrowers announced we are committed to becoming the nation’s first 100% sustainable wine region.
Since making this bold commitment two years ago, Sonoma County’s grape growers and vintners have made incredible progress and have been recognized around the world for our leadership. When launching these sustainability efforts, we promised to be fully transparent about our progress. This annual Sustainability Report is a comprehensive document that shares the stories of our winegrower’s and winemaker’s path towards sustainability – their practices and the impact it has on the environment, our community and people, and the local economy. It also provides a report card on where we're at towards reaching our sustainability goals.
This annual report was produced in partnership with the North Bay Business Journal and distributed in every newspaper throughout Sonoma County to more than 100,000 households.
We hope you will celebrate our efforts and join us in the bold initiative to help make Sonoma County the best place to live, work, and do business!
