The Sonoma County Winegrape Commission (SCWC) recently announced it’s new commissioners and alternatives.

In Celebration of 150 Years of Premium Winemaking in California, the 1,800 winegrape growers and more than 300 wineries of Sonoma County will celebrate 150 years of making premium wines in California with a Harvest Celebration in New York City on October 3-5, 2007.

The winners of the 2007 Sonoma County Wine Stars were announced at the Sonoma County Winegrape Commission’s annual BBQ on May 10.. The wine star program was developed this year to recognize restaurants and wineries that are committed to supporting Sonoma County winegrape growers and our promoting Sonoma County premier wine and food regions and products.

The Sonoma County Winegrape Commission and Sonoma County Vintners are jointly sponsoring a grape and wine industry BBQ and Tradeshow at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, Grace Pavilion.
