Annual Grower Meeting, Dec. 1 - Important Updates on Water and Pesticide Regulations
Don't miss this annual meeting for growers to be held at the Santa Rosa Veterans Building. Registration check-in and CEU sign-up starts at 7:30am with the meeting beginning promptly at 8:00am.
Supervisor Mike McGuire will provide the opening remarks. Topics to be discussed include important updates on: state water quality regulations; state monthly reporting of water diversions; an update on VESCO and timber conversion rules; new electronic pesticide use reporting; and, review of pesticide record and headquarter requirements.
In the past, the Sonoma County Agriculture Commissioner sponsored this meeting to update growers on pesticide regulations with 2.0 hours CEU provided. This year, The Ag Commissioner is partnering with Sotoyome and Southern Sonoma County Resource Conservation Districts (RCD) and the Winegrape Commission.
Two hours of CEU, including 1.0 hour Laws & Regulations, will be applied for.
